Sick and Tired

Maybe I just don't have the patience it requires to be a teacher. Or maybe it's just because I'm sick.

I'm tired of the constant redirects. SO tired. I'm tired of students not paying attention and asking questions that I just answered. Like fifteen seconds ago. They're finishing up final projects, and I can't conference because the other students won't work. I just want to walk out the door, go home, and go to bed.

Me too. And then I feel bad because I know that I can't possibly be giving 110% when I feel that way and then I feel bad because, my god, there's a week left in school. It's a vicious, vicious cycle.

And then there's the resentment, and the guilt from that as well, and that starts to stress me out and I get even MORE tired... it is! it is absolutely vicious.

Teaching requires patience. You have to take rest for some days in order to convince students to pay attention on their studies.
