Spring fever has hit my students very suddenly and very hard. We've been reviewing for the final exam - I gave students an outline of what would be on it and we began by discussing the relevant terms, talking about the definition and looking at examples on the marker board.
Unfortunately, all of my classes have been incredibly rude during this process today, side conversations galore, to the extent that with my last class I simply wrote the definitions on the board and had them copy them down. I don't remember having this difficulty in the past. I'm exhausted and I still have two more review days planned next week!
I need to do something differently, and I'm not sure what.
