So, I have to give a shout-out to Stories from School for an awesome post.
You know that fairy tale about the girl who goes after her husband and has to perform the impossible tasks? Like draining a lake? oh yeah, and to do it she's given a teaspoon. With nail-holes punched in it. And they mix together different kinds of flour and she's supposed to sort them out. And she's given two skeins of wool - one white, one black - and she has to switch the colors.
But because she is so kind-hearted, she has made a hojillion little animal friends, and they tell her how to complete the tasks. Or, like the flour - the ants do that one FOR her. I think it's like that in teaching.
We don't need better pay or better professional development.
We each need a fairy godmother and an army of workaholic animal friends!

Holy Guacamole, you just reminded me..."Professional Development," aka Inservice, staring me in the face for Monday afternoon. Geez Louise, could they be more lame? Anyhoo, don't forget to tune into tomorrow's Sx3. This seasonal salute even involves a REAL prize!
Resurrection Day, Clix! May yours be blessed in wonder-filled ways!
