My friend has her second round today. You will both be in my thoughts.
I'll be thinking of you!
Thanks guys! Chemo went great all told - the machine kept saying my port was clogged, so it ended up taking FOUR HOURS to get all the meds in me, BUT on the upside, I haven't noticed any side effects at all (yet). So I think the pluses definitely outweigh the minuses. And also we should be able to fix the minus side by having me lay down instead of sit up. No biggie. :)
And the drain isn't out, but I'm down to emptying it 3x/day. Dr said once it's down to <12 mL/day for three days straight they can take it out. Woot!
