The YARR-nival of Education!

ARRight, that might've been a divilishly bad pun, but I be the Pirate Princess this week, an' I be commandin' this here vessel, y'see? So welcome to the 214th Carnival of Education (according to EdWonks) and heave to, me hearties!

Carnival posts are behind the 'continue' link, and I did try to categorize them a little bit, although of course every post is unique! I thought about trying to be more clever and work in a script, as some hosts have done in the past, but I don't know that I'm up for that just yet, this being my very first time hosting and all.

As an occasional Carnival host myself, I understand the overwhelming nature of having several dozen bloggers visit your inbox in the space of 6 days--using the cut-paste HTML is no shame! Especially if you doll it up with a Jolly Roger and some hearty matey-talk.

Thanks for including "Bowl on, Kolan" at Teacher in a Strange Land. An incredible story of a Special Olympics bowler--who has his fingers crossed in hopes that he may get a chance to bowl (very competitively) with the President.

Thank you for linking to my blog. Actually, the name of my blog is, Pensamientos. I guess I have to be more careful with auto-fill form. :)

Clixie: What a mammoth undertaking! Thanks so much for the linky love...I haven't visited the Midway in such a long time, and I'm glad I could visit while you were in charge!

You're so welcome, everyone! I was glad to have so many great articles to offer.

It wasn't as much work as I was afraid it'd be. I planned to do it this way because I didn't know what to expect, and then Tuesday night I got done and went, "hmm... I could be more creative with this, maybe..." But I didn't have any ideas immediately forthcoming, so I figured I'd go ahead and post it bright and early, and see about being more daring next time!
